Our most preferred file type is PDF. Converting your file to PDF virtually eliminates all problems dealing with files across platforms (such as from Windows machines to Macintosh). It also eliminates the problems with changing from one printer to another these problems occur frequently with software such as WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Publisher. PDF files when created correctly eliminate the requirement to supplying the fonts that you have used in your job.
PDF is an Adobe creation, and information about it can be found on their website. Much of their software, such as PageMaker and InDesign, comes with PDF creation capabilities. If you buy Acrobat it comes with a plug-in for Microsoft Word for Windows.
While PDF is our preferred file, we can take InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. If providing Ind, AI, or PSD files please outline text, flatten artwork and supply any linked files.
